The Phēnix X smartphone is sold by BitMobile (Pty) Ltd (Reg. 2024/107610/07), the "Seller". Payment collection and the customer-facing application are provided by Kasi Payments (Pty) Ltd (Reg. 2023/589554/07), the "Platform". Together, "we" or "us".
The BitMobile Phēnix X smartphone is supplied with its original packaging, charger, USB-C cable, protective case, and preloaded apps. It comes with a standard 12-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects, and access to the Phēnix Portal monthly rewards programme (subject to BitMobile's separate rewards terms).
The total price is R5,199, regardless of which plan you choose. You pay a R1,000 deposit at sign-up, and the remaining R4,199 in equal monthly instalments based on your selected plan:
Monthly debits may be rounded to the nearest rand for ease of processing, with the final instalment adjusted so the total paid is exactly R5,199.
By accepting these terms, you authorise Kasi to collect the deposit and each monthly instalment from your Kasi balance, your incoming Kasi payouts, or any other payment method you have linked to your Kasi account. Kasi's Smart Collections Engine may attempt collection in one or more partial debits and may retry failed attempts within each calendar month, timed to align with your typical earnings pattern.
Once your R1,000 deposit is confirmed, BitMobile will dispatch the device within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 7 working days from dispatch. You must provide a valid South African delivery address and accept delivery in person with valid ID.
Ownership of the Phēnix X transfers to you only once the full R5,199 has been paid. Until then, the device remains the property of BitMobile and we may remotely disable the device if you fall materially behind on payments (see clause 7). Once fully paid, you receive a confirmation message and the device is unconditionally yours.
If a monthly debit fails, Kasi will retry collection during the same calendar month using the Smart Collections Engine. If you miss two consecutive monthly instalments, BitMobile may remotely disable the device until your account is brought up to date. Persistent default may result in the device being repossessed and your default being reported to credit bureaus, in line with the National Credit Act.
Because this offer is made via direct marketing through your Kasi app, you have the right to cancel within 5 business days of accepting these terms, in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. To cancel, contact Kasi (details below). If the device has already been delivered, you must return it in its original, unused condition with all packaging and accessories, and we will refund any amounts paid within 15 business days.
The Phēnix X is covered by BitMobile's 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects. Cosmetic damage, water damage, and damage from misuse are not covered. For warranty claims, contact BitMobile directly. Returns due to change of mind are only available within the cooling-off period in clause 8.
You consent to Kasi and BitMobile processing your personal information for the purposes of this agreement, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Your data will only be shared with third parties where necessary to fulfil this agreement (for example, the delivery courier) or where required by law. You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by contacting our support teams.
You agree to receive transactional messages relating to this agreement (payment reminders, debit confirmations, delivery updates) by SMS, WhatsApp, email and in-app notification. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting your participation in this agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any unresolved dispute may be referred to the National Consumer Commission, the National Consumer Tribunal, or any competent court in South Africa.
This offer is made available to selected Kasi customers and is subject to availability and to confirmation of your R1,000 deposit. We reserve the right to amend these terms with at least 30 days written notice for any material change.
